Lyme Disease Treatments

There are two standards of care for Lyme Disease.

The International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) often find the disease difficult to diagnose and to treat. There is the Early Lyme treatment and the Chronic Lyme treatment.

Early Lyme treatment is likely to be treated with longer and more aggressive antibiotic treatment to ensure that the disease does not progress.

Chronic Lyme treatment is similar to that of a patient with congestive heart failure. There are currently no testing that can determine whether there is an active infection or coinfection or whether the infection has been completely eradicated by treatment.

At Natural Horizons Wellness Centers, our Lyme disease treatment centers focuses on treating the entire body, not just the Lyme disease infection itself, to restore overall health. Because Lyme disease affects most areas of the body, our holistic, integrative treatments for Lyme disease have a greater chance of helping our patients take back their health.

At Natural Horizons Wellness Centers, we advocate treating Lyme disease naturally whenever possible.

Our integrative treatments for Lyme disease include:

-Improving gut health

-Detoxification of heavy metals

-Adding trace minerals to the body

-Strengthening the immune system

-Binding neurotoxins in the gut to avoid reabsorption

-Identifying and eliminating food allergies and intolerances

-Detecting hidden toxins and microbes

-Restoration of damaged organs or tissues

-Antibiotics and antifungal treatments

Lyme disease and the co-infections it causes are complex and challenging to treat. Our approach gives patients the best chance at overall health, but it still takes time and work to recover fully. If you are interested in more information about our Lyme disease treatment options, call us or contact us online today.
