Needles Not Just For Pain
Classical Acupuncture is a health care tradition developed in Ancient China and refined through out the ages. It is based on the understanding that a series of meridians run through the body, connecting the internal environment and function with the surface of the body. Qi (Chinese) or Ki (Japanese) energy circulates through the meridian pathways.
Health and harmony exist when the Qi circulation is plentiful and unimpaired.
It is important to remember that Acupuncture treats the person, not the illness or symptom. So your treatment may be different from your friend's treatment for the same symptoms or illness.
